The Ridgway Youth Town Council presents the Ridgway Community Pickleball Tournament - an event to raise funds for two local charitable organizations. This is the second year the YTC has chosen to conduct this event as part of their capstone project in service to the Town of Ridgway and the community. The tournament is designed to be a fun and social event for players of all ages and skill levels. It will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Ridgway Athletic Park, featuring three events.
There will 3 different types of competitions this year. An Adult/Child Doubles for players under 10 years of age paired with an adult. A Junior Doubles for players in two different age brackets: Ages 11-13, 14-18 and Adult Bracket for anyone 19 and over. Teams may be same gender or mixed.
The Ridgway Youth Town Council encourages the motto of “Everyone Plays” and invites all to join other families for a fun morning of pickleball.
COST: $10 per individual
WHERE: Ridgway Athletic Park, County Road 23, Ridgway, CO 81432
WHEN: Saturday, 5/31 Doubles (Adult+Child 10&under) from 9:00am-10:00 am, Junior Round Robin for age brackets: Ages 11-13 and Ages 14-18 from 10:00–11:00 am, Adult Doubles for ages 19 and over from 11:00–12:00 pm
LEVELS: All age players & skill levels welcome – this is a social fundraising event
FORMAT: Adult/Child Doubles - you and your partner will rotate in each of 3 games in a doubles match played to 7 points. Round Robin Junior Teams - you and your partner will rotate each of 3 games in your age bracket in a doubles match played to 11 points. Adult Bracket - this is a doubles format and you will be randomly assigned a partner in each of 3 games played to 11 points. Awards will be given for each event for most wins.
